The fascinating world of biological invasions

Please accept our cordial invitation to the lecture entitled "The Fascinating World of Biological Invasions", which will be held on February 19, 2024 in the Antonín Švehla's Library (Slezská 7, Prague 2) from 5 p.m (only in Czech). M.Sc. Zdenek Račanský will familiarize the audience with the basic terms and principles of biological invasions, the characteristics of invasive species, the history of their introduction and the dynamics of their spread. The best-known invasive species will be presented, as well as problematic ornamental species and their suitable alternatives.
