Scientists versus gardeners - finding a consensus

The issue of invasive species in plantings is not a simple topic. On the contrary, it is rather a controversial topic, both on the part of scientists who deal with the effects of the spread of invasive plant species, and on the part of gardeners. Scientists would prefer that species with invasive status be completely excluded from plantings. Gardeners, on the other hand, would usually prefer to plant all species without restrictions, and especially those that survive everything, have an aesthetic effect and do not require special care. The issue is discussed by the author team Kateřina Berchová Bímová, Martin Vojík, Josef Kutlvašr in the autumn issue of the INSPIRATION magazine (only in Czech).
