Since October 2022, the municipality of Lípa in the district of Havlíčkův Brod is proud of its new flower bed. This is an extensive gravel bed and its species composition was designed to extend the flowering period as much as possible. At the same time, only so-called safe species are planted here, i.e. plant species that we do not have to worry about going wild and subsequent invasion. In the March issue of the newspaper Lipské listy (only in Czech), an article was published that describes not only the establishment of this flower bed, but also the project itself, within the framework of which the flower bed was built.
